A short
Premiere video project to study aspects of facial animation and
timing. The project taught me the importance of a well placed blink
to convey emotion.
I used
various bits and pieces from the kitchen including an egg timer,
egg whisk, measuring scoops and parts of our AeroPress coffee maker.
The stars at the beginning are table salt crystals photographed
on our glass coffee table and the image was panned in Premiere to
create a camera move that matches the opening scene of 'Star
Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi'. The planet surface
in my opening shot is a pair of jeans.
